  • Prawns: 2 lbs
  • Eggs: 2
  • Multivitamins: 5 tablets
  • Pro-More: 100g
  • Pro-Gro: 100g

  • Gelatin: 2 packs

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Ingredients:
    • Thaw the pink salmon, yellowfin tuna, and prawns if frozen.
    • Break the multivitamins into a powder form for easier mixing.
  2. Puree the Fish:
    • Using a blender, puree the pink salmon, yellowfin tuna, and prawns until you achieve a smooth consistency.
    • Optionally, you can also use a food processor for this step.
  3. Combine the Ingredients:
    • In a large mixing bowl, combine the pureed fish with the eggs, multivitamins, Pro-More, Pro-Gro, and spirulina.
    • Mix thoroughly using a potato masher or a sturdy spoon to ensure all ingredients are well incorporated.
  4. Prepare the Gelatin:
    • Follow the instructions on the gelatin packs to prepare it. Typically, this involves dissolving the gelatin in hot water.
    • Once the gelatin is prepared, mix it into the fish paste thoroughly.
  5. Spread and Freeze:
    • Spread the mixture evenly onto cookie sheets to create a flat, uniform layer.
    • Place the cookie sheets in the freezer and allow the mixture to freeze completely.
  6. Cut into Cubes:
    • Once the mixture is frozen, use a bit of hot water on the underside of the cookie sheets to release the frozen paste.
    • Cut the frozen paste into cubes of appropriate size for feeding your discus fish.
  7. Store:
    • Place the cubes into Ziplock bags for easy storage and convenience.
    • Keep the bags in the freezer to maintain freshness and prevent spoilage.

Feeding Instructions

  • Feed your discus fish a small number of cubes once or twice a day, depending on their size and number.
